We feel our library is a very important part of our community. In researching the future of libraries, we have learned that to best serve the community, our space needs to accommodate all ages, as well as create a family environment. To best achieve that, we would like to add to our space and also add more shelving space for our collections. The demand for small, business or private space is not something we currently can offer, in addition to comfortable teen space, adult quiet space, and a "child friendly" space. Our free services will be enhanced as well.
- Expanded children's area with Storytime room
- Nursing room for mothers
- Expanded meeting room kitchen
- More inviting and comfortable teen area
- Two small conference rooms serving 4-8 people
- Additional book space for children and adults
- Drive through book drop
- Additional parking required with city ordinance
Please come to the Redwood Falls Library to view the plans in person.
